I am a certified personal trainer in the Los Angeles area for over 12 years. I began my professional career as a nurse then transitioned into personal training. I still study medicine, health practices and rehabilitation and these studies enable me to apply practical exercise programs for my client’s individual needs.
I have worked with client injuries of all types including broken necks, broken backs, torn ACL’s and MCL’s, hip and knee replacements, slipped discs and shoulder and rotator cuff injuries. My training programs can be custom designed for those suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, high risk heart attack and stroke. In addition many of my clients are pre & post-natal mothers, bodybuilders, competitors and athletes. Many are interested in weight loss or gain, endurance and stamina training or just interested in developing a nicely shaped and sculpted body.
Diet is a huge part of your success in achieving a perfect body and that said I work with you to develop a personalized diet plan focused on highly nutritious foods and a minimal use of supplements as supplements are largely synthetic food sources. The best diets come from actual food and healthy foods enable you to sustain stronger workouts for optimal health and performance.
I am a huge advocate of “safety first” and a perfectionist about proper form and technique. Men more than women often worry about lifting heavy weight to build muscle but the weight you lift should always be secondary to your safety. So leave your ego at the gym door, come in focused and perform the exercises with correct form and technique and I promise you will get the results you want faster and safer.
