What is one on one personal training?
Just what it sounds like. Mike will work with you and only you during
your training session and give you 100% of the attention and not split it
amongst others while training.
What is group training?
Group training is when Mike trains a group of 3 -6 people at one time
and he will have you all doing something different and checking on
everyone’s form. Attention is obviously split between each person.
What is in home training and do I need to have a gym at my house?
This is where Mike comes to your home to train you. You do not need
to have a gym at your house or even any equipment. Mike will provide
all of the equipment and exercises needed to be done.
How do I know what is the best program for me?
Once an appointment is made to sit down and meet, Mike will discuss
your fitness goals and then determine which method of training will be
best suited for you.
I hear a lot of how it will hurt after I start training. Is this true?
You will be sore your first week of training but it will pass. Mike is very
good about understanding how to train you to minimize the soreness
so that you can still move around. Most trainers overdo it from the
beginning in an attempt to impress you the client resulting in severe
soreness and pain. Mike is not an ego maniac and your safety and
results are his number one priority.
How do I sign up for personal training?
You can register by filling out the forms and sending them via email or
you may register online. You may also fill out all papers and sign up in
person with Mike when you set up an appointment.
How do I pay for sessions and when?
You can either pay in person by cash or check or you can use our
secure paypal payment program found on the services tab of this web
site. All sessions must be paid for in full before they are started.
How often do I need to meet for personal training sessions?
That is completely up to you on how often you would like to meet with
Mike. Mike will suggest to you how many may be needed depending
on your goal but you will decide what is within your need and budget.
What can I expect to achieve?
You can expect to lose inches and drop pounds while becoming more
fit and toned. That is an
amazing feeling and will encourage you to continue moving forward.
Results depend also on your eating habits.
How important is my diet? Cant I just work out and get where I want
to be?
Unfortunately you cant just diet alone. You will lose weight but you will
also develop a lot of loose skin if you don’t incorporate an exercise
program with it. Diet is a huge factor. In fact 60% or your progress and
improvements will come from diet alone. Mike will help you with your
diet to help ensure that you will be getting the proper gains and results.
Pre personal training info
We will take a few simple measurements to see where you are prior to
beginning training. We will take your weight and body fat %. We don't
care what the measurements show in the beginning. It's strictly for a
post comparison. We will retake measurements on the same date
every month to see the comparisons. These numbers and all other
information will be held in the strictest of confidence.
